AIRO Group is seeking a compliance professional to administer export controls, contracts management and ethics programs at its Tysons Corner headquarters. The role involves legal research, policy development and supporting internal investigations to ensure regulatory adherence.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work in-person at AIRO's Tysons Corner campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preference for 1E or 2E law student with strong academic background.
• Detail-oriented; demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills, initiative, and judgment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and able to operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within the company and in other entities, including those involved in technical and program work.

Responsibilities

• Investigations, Litigation, and Legal Research and Writing: researches legal issues and prepares memoranda; prepares materials related to litigation and investigations; assists in creating corporate policies based on regulatory changes.
• Corporate Compliance: Monitors export control compliance and authorizations; assists with review, drafting, and administration of contracts; supports contract milestones and regulatory obligations.
• Ethics/Code of Conduct: assists with internal ethics reporting system and investigations; prepares documentation.
