Job summary

Mutual 1st Federal Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented, driven leader to join our leadership team as Compliance & Deposit Operations Manager. This role is responsible for the seamless operation of daily deposit activities, account openings, and internal audits to mitigate risk, serving as the BSA Officer and overseeing our BSA/AML program.

Qualifications

Three to five years of similar or related experience.
Bachelor's degree or industry-certified equivalent.
Knowledge of Credit Union Law and Regulations.
Ability to motivate and influence others.
Knowledgeable of electronic banking equipment, video security systems, electronic funds transfer.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day deposit operations, account opening, and internal audits.
Serve as the BSA/AML Officer and manage the BSA/AML program.
Collaborate with management on product development, risk management, training, and process improvement.
Lead defined operational initiatives and projects with end-to-end execution.
Conduct time-sensitive investigations of potential fraud and provide training resources.
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and interact with auditors.
