Job summary

BankFirst Financial Services is seeking a Deposit Compliance Officer I to support the Director of Compliance in developing, implementing, and maintaining the CMS focused on retail and deposit operations. The role collaborates with Retail, Operations, Marketing, and IT to ensure policies align with federal mandates and to monitor compliance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of deposit regulations (Reg E, Reg CC, Reg D, Reg DD, Privacy, UDAAP).
Strong analytical skills with ability to identify operational risks in retail.
Excellent communication skills for translating complex regs into staff instructions.

Responsibilities

CMS & Policy Support: Assist in building and enhancing deposit CMS; draft and refine policies for Reg E, Reg CC, Reg DD, and Privacy.
Marketing Oversight: Review deposit-related ads and promotions for compliance with UDAAP and fair treatment standards.
Monitoring & Reporting: Execute the deposit monitoring schedule; prepare drafts for the Compliance Committee.
Compliant Process Assistance: Guide retail and operations on compliant workflows and handling complaints.
Training & Research: Create deposit compliance training materials and monitor regulatory updates from FDIC, CFPB, and Federal Reserve.
