The role requires organization, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, with strong communication skills and comfort using Microsoft software. Responsabilités

• Track, investigate, assign, and drive resolution of state elevator violations and deficiencies.
• Monitor deadlines for corrections, re-inspection, hearings, and filings.
• Coordinate corrective actions with field ops, contractors, customers, and building mgmt.
• Process and support Certificates of Correction with required docs and filings.
• Review violations to determine responsibility, including fines and penalties.
• Maintain accurate records and updates in compliance systems.
• Communicate violation status and required actions to stakeholders.
• Support improvement of violation-clearing processes and controls.

Location: OT253: NBP - Pittsburgh, PA 4499 Campbells Run Road, Pittsburgh, PA, 15205 USA. Otis Elevator Company is seeking a highly motivated Compliance Coordinator to support the Pittsburgh Branch. This role coordinates elevator inspection and compliance activities while providing administrative support to branch operations. The ideal candidate is organized, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal direction.

Typical day responsibilities

• Track, investigate, assign, and drive resolution of state elevator violations and deficiencies.
• Monitor correction, reinspection, hearing, and filing deadlines to support timely compliance.
• Coordinate corrective actions with field operations, contractors, consultants, account managers, customers, and building management.
• Process and support Certificates of Correction including required documentation and filings.
• Review violations and deficiencies to determine responsibility, including customer/building and billable items, fines, and civil penalties.
• Maintain accurate records, supporting documentation, and status updates in applicable compliance systems.
• Communicate violation status, required actions, and outstanding items to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of violation‑clearing processes, standard work, and compliance controls.

Required qualifications & key attributes

• Ability to work in a highly team‑oriented and dynamic environment.
• Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
• Needs to be self‑motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
• Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software.
• Goal‑oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
• High school degree or equivalent required.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience working with Pennsylvania labor industry preferred.
