The Compliance & Mobility Specialist will assist the Lead Compliance & Mobility Partner in implementing and overseeing global compliance and mobility policies, ensuring adherence to legal requirements across various regions. What You'll Do

The role involves collaborating with People Operations, Legal, and Payroll to advise on global compliance and mobility issues, developing practices that support our talent strategy through research on industry and regional best practices.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Serve as a point of contact for mobility and employment compliance queries.
  • Support global mobility program administration, including relocations, aligning with company policies and talent goals.
  • Work with legal counsel to manage case escalations, work authorization requirements, and visa renewals.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory changes affecting the workforce (immigration, tax, labor laws), updating stakeholders accordingly.
  • Track assignment statuses, visa expirations, and deadlines, escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and ensure timely submissions.
  • Assist with HR compliance reports and regulated programs (Pay Equity, OSHA, Employment Equity).
  • Update HR compliance policies and documentation.
  • Manage HR training schedules and records.
  • Support I-9 processes and background checks.
  • Conduct research and reporting for compliance initiatives.
  • Promote a safe, compliant workplace through health and safety documentation.
  • Support strategic initiatives and vendor relationships.
What You'll Bring To The Role
  • 3-5 years in global mobility, immigration, employment law, or HR compliance within an international organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Law, Business, or related field; equivalent experience may suffice.
  • Deep knowledge of global mobility, immigration, cross-border tax, and labor laws.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous compliance situations and provide practical solutions.
  • Understanding of pay transparency, pay equity, employment, and labor laws.
  • Experience with international immigration, labor laws, and mobility practices.
  • Skills in audits, RFPs, compliance reporting, and documentation.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite applications.
