Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support daily file processing for move-ins and re-certifications across properties participating in housing programs.

The role involves preparing rent schedules, monitoring utility allowances, and compiling reports for agencies. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in government housing compliance, knowledge of Section 42, Rural Development, HUD, HOME programs, and relevant certifications.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience with government housing, primarily the Section 42 Tax Credit Program, Rural Development, HUD, HOME, Pra811 or other programs as Compliance Specialist or Affordable Community Manager.
• HCCP, SCHM, TCS, RD, COS designations preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with daily file processing reviews for new move-ins and re-certifications.
• Prepare and update Rent Schedules with income, rent and utility allowances.
• Track, review, and prepare Utility Allowances.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reports for agencies.
• Aid in audits and work with managers as needed.
• Monitor state agency websites for forms and policies.
• Prepare in-house weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
• Track and monitor EIV compliance.
• Assist other departments as needed.

Educación

5+ years of experience with government housing programs

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily file processing reviews for new move ins and re-certifications for those properties that participate in the housing programs of designated portfolio.
• Prepare and update Rent Schedules with income, rent and utility allowances.
• Track, review, and prepare Utility Allowances.
• Assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual reports requested from the city, county, state and other agencies.
• Aid in preparing for audits either internally or on site, when needed.
• Work closely with properties and managers in training and other areas in times of need.
• Monitor state agency websites to ensure we are using the most up-to-date forms and policies.
• Prepare in-house weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
• Track and monitor EIV compliance.
• Assist other departments in time of need.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Must have good people skills.
• Must have problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel in and out-of-state properties if needed to assist with file processing for move ins and re-certifications.
• Computer skills: Excel, Word and Yardi experience or other property management software program experience.
• Must be willing to work in portfolio geographic area.
• Travel is a must.

Education & Experience

• 5 + years of experience with government housing primarily the Section 42 Tax Credit Program, Rural Development, HUD, HOME, Pra811 or other programs as Compliance Specialist, or Affordable Community Manager required.
• HCCP, SCHM, TCS, RD, COS designations preferred.

Physical Requirements

• A minimum of two days of travel to sites with notice required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance.
