Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Specialize in Complex Family Planning.
• Completing or completed Complex FP Fellowship.
• Clinical experience in family planning with formal research training.
• California Medical License eligibility.
• Experience training fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collegially in a diverse academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medical students, residents, and fellows on family planning and obstetrics/gynecology.
• Provide mentorship as part of residency and fellowship training.
• Participate in a family planning research program; funding is optional.
• Coordinate coverage for complex FP services at Sacramento health campus and contracted sites.
• Travel to local/regional sites as needed and support a cooperative team environment.
