Job summary

UC Davis Health is recruiting a full-time Complex Family Planning Specialist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The position is at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, with a balanced mix of complex family planning and general obstetrics/gynecology duties.

The candidate will oversee medical students, residents, and fellows, contribute to a residency/fellowship program, and may engage in a family planning research program. Travel to contracted sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Fellowship in Complex Family Planning preferred.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Experience teaching fellows, residents and medical students.
• Eligible to obtain California medical license.

Responsibilities

• Split clinical duties ~50% complex family planning and ~50% general obstetrics/gynecology.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to medical students, residents and fellows.
• Travel to local/regional contracted sites as needed for complex family planning services.
• Participate in residency/fellowship training programs in complex family planning.
