Job summary

University of California, Davis Health System seeks a full-time Complex Family Planning Specialist at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. The role covers Sacramento health campus and contracted sites, with emphasis on complex family planning and obstetrics/gynecology.

The candidate should have a Complex Family Planning fellowship, be eligible for California medical licensure, and be prepared for teaching and mentorship within a busy

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Fellowship in Complex Family Planning required or in progress.
• Experience in complex family planning and research training via fellowship/MPH/PhD or similar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medical students, residents and fellows in family planning and obstetrics/gynecology.
• 50% time dedicated to complex family planning and 50% general OB/GYN services with potential future adjustment.
• Provide mentorship in residency and fellowship programs; participate in a family planning research program if desired.
• Travel to local/regional contracted sites for coverage as needed.
• Participate in required in-house obstetric and complex family planning call coverage.
