Job summary

UC Davis Health invites applications for a full-time Complex Family Planning Specialist at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. The position blends complex family planning with general obstetrics/gynecology and includes oversight of trainees and mentorship in a dynamic academic environment.

The role conducts clinical work across Sacramento health campus and partner sites, emphasizing advanced procedures and flexible scheduling; salary ranges

Qualifications

MD or DO degree required at time of application.
Specialization in Complex Family Planning with fellowship training preferred.
Experience with training fellows, residents and medical students.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; California license desirable.

Responsibilities

Oversee medical students, residents and fellows in family planning and obstetrics/gynecology.
Provide mentorship within residency and fellowship training programs.
Participation in a family planning research program is optional but encouraged.
Willingness to travel to local/regional contracted sites as needed.
