Location: Miami, FL

A leading litigation firm is seeking a mid-level Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its Complex Commercial Litigation practice in Miami.

The successful candidate will work on sophisticated, high-stakes disputes in Florida state and federal courts, with significant responsibility across all phases of litigation. This is particularly well suited to an associate with strong general litigation experience who wants meaningful involvement in discovery, depositions, motion practice and trial.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation in Florida state and federal courts


• Manage matters through pleadings, motions, discovery and trial


• Take and defend depositions


• Draft and argue substantive motions


• Manage all aspects of discovery in large, high-stakes cases


• Assist with expert development and trial preparation

Who You Are

• 3+ years of broad-based litigation experience


• Top-tier law firm experience or comparable Federal Court judicial clerkship experience


• Experience handling matters in Florida state and federal courts


• Strong discovery, deposition and motion practice experience


• Excellent legal research and writing skills


• Strong case management and organizational abilities


• Excellent academic credentials


• Professional working proficiency in Spanish, including reading, writing and speaking


• Admitted to the Florida Bar
