Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to the Complex Benign Gynecology Program. You will provide advanced MIGS care for patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and NY license
• Successful MIGS fellowship training
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions, including endometriosis, adenomyosis, chronic pelvic pain, complex fibroids, and other conditions requiring advanced gynecologic expertise.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including complex laparoscopic and robotic procedures, with emphasis on individualized, evidence-based surgical management of complex benign disease.
• Participate in and help expand multidisciplinary care pathways for patients with complex pelvic disease, collaborating with gynecologic imaging, urology, colorectal surgery, gynecologic oncology, and other relevant specialties.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care for patients within the complex benign gynecology practice and participate in appropriate subspecialty clinical coverage.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents, including operative education in minimally invasive and advanced benign gynecologic surgery.
• Participate in quality improvement, outcomes measurement, research, and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to the continued development of Albany Medical Center's Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

Education
