Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to its Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

The successful candidate will join a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease, minimally invasive surgery, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and eligibility for NY medical license.
• Fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS).
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized evaluation and longitudinal management of complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced MIS gynecologic surgery, including robotic and laparoscopic procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to expand care pathways.
• Educate medical students and residents in MIS techniques and subspecialty care.
• Engage in quality improvement, outcomes research, and scholarly activity.
