Job summary

Comlux America LLC, a premier VIP aircraft completion and refurbishment center in Indianapolis, seeks a Completions Coordinator to coordinate materials, parts, tooling, and documentation for aircraft completion activities and schedule adherence.

In this role you will liaise with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Operations Support to resolve logistical constraints, support daily coordination, and track project progress while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years in manufacturing, aviation, logistics, or related roles.
  • Experience supporting production, maintenance, completions, or aerospace operations preferred.
  • Experience with ERP and MRP systems preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sourcing, movement, delivery, and staging of materials and tooling.
  • Serve as liaison between Completions, Production, Engineering, Materials, and Supply Chain.
  • Monitor material shortages, backorders, and engineering releases, escalating as needed.
  • Track status of parts, materials, engineering changes, and client modifications.
  • Attend meetings and provide updates on material and logistical needs.
  • Maintain action item logs and ensure tasks are completed.
  • Support milestone planning and execution by coordinating resources.
  • Assist with scheduling, reporting, and documentation management.
  • Maintain project tracking reports, dashboards, and status presentations.

Role Description

The Completions Coordinatorserves as the dedicated logistical and administrative support resource for theassigned aircraft completion team, reporting directly to the respectiveCompletions Manager. This role is responsible for coordinating the timely flowof materials, parts, tooling, documentation, and information necessary tosupport aircraft completion activities and maintain schedule adherence.

Acting as the central point ofcoordination between Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, OperationsSupport, and the Completions team, the Completions Coordinator proactivelyidentifies and resolves logistical constraints that may impact aircraftschedules. This position allows Completions Managers to remain focused onexecution, quality, customer satisfaction, and delivery objectives by assumingresponsibility for daily coordination activities, administrative support, andproject tracking functions.

Essential Job Functions
  • Supports aircraftmilestone achievement, minimizing production disruptions, and ensuringeffective communication across all departments involved in the aircraftcompletion process.
  • Coordinate thesourcing, movement, delivery, and staging of materials, parts, tooling, anddocumentation required to support aircraft completion activities.
  • Serve as theprimary liaison between the Completions team, Production, Engineering,Materials, Supply Chain, Operations Support, and Quality departments regardingaircraft-specific coordination requirements.
  • Monitor criticalmaterial shortages, backorders, engineering releases, and open action items,escalating issues that may impact aircraft schedules.
  • Track andcommunicate the status of critical parts, materials, engineering changes, andcustomer-driven modifications.
  • Attendproduction, planning, and aircraft status meetings and provide updatesregarding outstanding material, logistical, and support requirements.
  • Maintain aircraftaction item logs and ensure assigned tasks are tracked through completion.
  • Support aircraftmilestone planning and execution by coordinating required resources andensuring readiness for upcoming work packages.
  • AssistCompletions Managers with daily administrative activities including schedulingsupport, report preparation, meeting coordination, and documentationmanagement.
  • Maintainaircraft-specific project tracking reports, Gemba boards, dashboards, andstatus presentations utilizing Microsoft Office applications and companysystems.
  • Assist withworkforce time administration activities as directed by management.
  • Ensure all coordinationactivities are performed in accordance with company procedures, safetyrequirements, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate withMaterials and Supply Chain teams to prioritize aircraft-critical shortages andexpedite deliveries when necessary.
  • Support aircraftprotection initiatives by ensuring materials, equipment, and support activitiesdo not compromise customer assets or aircraft condition.
  • Identify processimprovement opportunities and recommend actions to improve communication,material flow, and schedule execution.
  • Maintain accuraterecords of coordination activities, aircraft status updates, and outstandingissues.
  • Perform otherrelated duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications,Education and Experience
  • High SchoolDiploma or GED required. Associate degree or additional training in Business,Supply Chain, Aviation, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two(2) years of experience in manufacturing, aviation, logistics, supply chain,production support, project coordination, or administrative support roles.
  • Experiencesupporting production, maintenance, completions, or aerospace operations ispreferred.
  • Experienceworking with ERP, MRP, production planning, or inventory management systems ispreferred.
  • Ability to read,write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Valid driver'slicense preferred.

Work Environment
  • Work is primarily in an office environmentbut will regularly work in aircraft hangars, workshops, production areas, andsupplier facilities.
  • The position requires interaction withemployees, management, customers, suppliers, auditors, and regulatoryrepresentatives. Travel to supplier and customer locations may be required.
  • The position normally follows a standardwork schedule; however, flexibility in working hours, including occasionalovertime, weekends, and travel, may be required based on business andoperational needs.
