Arrows Active Play Park in Boerne, TX, is seeking an Indoor Playground & Café Manager to lead daily operations, coach the team, and ensure a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for every family.

The Indoor Playground & Café Manager is responsible for creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment where every family has an outstanding experience. This leader oversees daily operations of the playground and café, develops and coaches the team, ensures the highest standards of child safety and cleanliness, and actively engages with guests to build lasting relationships that keep families coming back.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm and create a memorable first impression.

Build relationships with families by learning names and engaging with children and parents throughout their visit.

Resolve guest concerns quickly, professionally, and with a positive attitude.

Ensure every guest leaves feeling valued and excited to return.

Monitor online reviews and encourage satisfied guests to share their experiences.

Child Safety

Maintain a safe and sanitary play environment at all times.

Ensure all team members consistently follow safety procedures and emergency protocols.

Monitor play areas to identify and address safety concerns immediately.

Verify secure check-in/check-out procedures and family wristband policies.

Investigate and document incidents promptly and professionally.

Recruit, train, coach, and motivate employees.

Lead by example with a positive, servant-hearted attitude.

Conduct regular performance coaching and accountability conversations.

Schedule staff to meet business needs while controlling labor costs.

Foster a culture of teamwork, hospitality, safety, and excellence.

Operations

Oversee daily opening and closing procedures.

Ensure the facility exceeds cleanliness standards throughout the day.

Manage inventory and supplies for both the playground and café.

Coordinate maintenance needs and communicate repairs promptly.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Maintain high standards for food quality and presentation.

Monitor food safety and sanitation procedures.

Manage inventory, ordering, and waste reduction.

Sales & Business Growth

Drive revenue through admissions, memberships, birthday parties, café sales, and special events.

Promote current offers and encourage add-on purchases.

Assist with community outreach and marketing events.

Track key performance indicators and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Previous management experience in hospitality, family entertainment, retail, food service, childcare or recreation preferred.

Strong leadership and coaching abilities.

Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Passion for serving families and creating memorable experiences.

Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements
