Job summary

TNT Kid's Fitness in Fargo, ND is seeking a competitive gymnastics coach to design and implement developmentally appropriate activities that build skills in line with USAG goals.

The role pays $14.00 to $24.00 hourly and requires coaching during after-school and summer hours, with occasional weekend travel for meets. Previous competitive gymnastics coaching or gymnastic participation is preferred, and candidates pursuing education or kinesiology studies are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Maintain safety by enforcing gym rules and age-appropriate activities.
• Perform nightly cleaning and gym reset tasks.

• Maintain all required certifications for the role.
• Former competitive gymnast or coach experience preferred.
• Open to/currently pursuing degrees in Elementary Education, Physical Education, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Job description

Primary Function

Competitive Gymnastics coaches create and/or implement developmentally appropriate activities to enhance skill development and achieve the desired skill objectives set forth by USAG. Competitive Gymnastics coaches work specifically with girls aged 4‑18, depending on the program and/or level. Competitive Gymnastics coaches design activities to progress toward the desired skill.

Hourly Wage

$14.00 to $24.00

Hours Will Vary With This Position Throughout the Year

• School Year: Monday through Friday 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM
• Summer: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• As part of your position, you may be required to host parent conferences and travel for gymnastics meets, which typically occur over weekends in the months of December through May.

Responsibilities And Preferred Requirements

• All candidates must have a passion for building relationships and positively influencing youth through movement.

• Former competitive gymnastics coach or competitive gymnasts preferred.
• Attending, interested in attending, or graduated from university for: Elementary Education, Physical Education, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Physical tasks such as moving, adjusting, and setting up equipment upwards of 50 lbs.
• Ability to position self in multiple ways to ensure safety through performance of specific skills.
• TNT is a fast‑paced environment, and the successful candidate will be able to adapt quickly and be self‑reliant.
