Job summary

constelliscareers is seeking a Competitions Coordinator to assist the Marketing & Events Manager in planning and executing competitive shooting events. You will coordinate matches, manage operations, and ensure range safety throughout competitions.

This role requires hands-on involvement in stage design, safety briefings, and event setup, with frequent weather-related challenges and variable hours, including some weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with weapons training is preferred.
• Experience as a Range Safety Officer is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proven problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute competitive shooting events.
• Coordinate matches, safety briefings, and scorekeeping.
• Set up targets, barricades, and range equipment.
• Assist with registration, squadding and waivers.
• Resolve disputes and support front-line staff.
• Work in busy training environment and varied hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
