Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, product marketing, or industry analysis.
• Understanding of the modern data and AI landscape—analytical platforms, ML infra, and agentic AI architectures.
• Knowledge of vector datastores and open table formats (Iceberg, Delta, Hudi).
• Hands‑on familiarity with GenAI tooling (LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic monitoring).
• Experience with enterprise software sales cycle and competitive deal dynamics.
• Knowledge of cloud ecosystems (public/hybrid/on‑premises).
• Travel may be required up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Own competitive intelligence gathering and analysis for Databricks and other platforms.
• Conduct research using internal and external sources to inform business decisions.
• Apply GenAI tooling to accelerate research workflows and maintain output quality.
• Develop and maintain prompt libraries for CI research and content workflows.
• Monitor competitor activity and ensure factual accuracy of work products.
• Create competitive battlecards, deep-dives, and sales enablement materials.
• Collaborate with marketing on differentiated positioning and messaging.
• Provide real-time competitive sales support for GTM opportunities.
• Deliver competitive training and enablement for global sales teams.
• Maintain and evolve the CI knowledge base.
• Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
