Job summary

Dealer Tire is seeking a Pricing & Merchandising Data Solutions Analyst in the United States to compile and analyze pricing, merchandising, and assortment data, and to support revenue and margin goals.

You will work with data warehouses, Alteryx, Snowflake, SQL Server, Excel, and BI tools to deliver actionable insights and drive cross-functional improvements across teams including Supply Chain, Sales, IT, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
• 2–4 years in a technical role focused on performance analytics or pricing/product analysis.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
• Experience with Alteryx or similar analytics automation software.
• Proficiency in SQL, VBA, and databases.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Management: Compile and analyze pricing, merchandising, and AOR data; audit large data sets; leverage data warehouse tools to identify trends and propose solutions.
• Analytics & Strategy Support: Provide advanced analytics to Pricing, Merchandising, AOR, and Finance; generate reports and insights for action across DT family companies.
• Financial Analysis: Create tools to represent profitability for Pricing, Merchandising, and AOR; analyze gross margin and revenue impacts.
• Other duties as assigned: Cross-functional collaboration to streamline data analytics and processes.

Base Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000

Position Overview

As an Pricing & Merchandising Data Solutions Analyst, your essential job functions will include the following:

Data Management

Compile and analyze Dealer Tire data related to Pricing, Merchandising & AOR. Audit and analyze large data sets to ensure accuracy in all information. Leverage new and existing technologies in most efficient ways possible (can include, but not limited to: data warehouse solutions, Alteryx, Snowflake, R-Studio, Excel, VBA,SQL Server Management Studio) to identify trends and make recommendations. Identify the components of a problem and apply appropriate analytics techniques to create solutions.

Analytics & Strategy Support

Support Pricing, Merchandising, AOR, and Finance teams with advanced analytics and, if assigned, also provide support for all DT family companies. Assemble, manage and distribute operational reports and metrics, providing others with interpretations of the results and suggestions on actions to be taken. Utilize data & analytics to support Dealer Tire in achieving annual revenue and margin targets. Work collaboratively with other teams in the organization to develop solutions, including but not limited to: Supply Chain, Sales, Program Management, IT, Marketing. On an ad-hoc basis, provide support/analysis to Finance, Program Management, Sales, Supplier Relations, and Inventory Management. Collaborate with others in the organization to streamline data analytics and processes, ensuring consistent approach and strategy.

Financial Analysis

Maintain/create tools to that accurately represent profitability in various ways for Pricing, Merchandising and AOR. Analyze gross margin impact and revenue impact of recommendations made to Pricing, Merchandising and AOR teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or business-related field required.
• Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a technical role focused on performance analytics, financial analysis, pricing/product analysis or other related business field.
• Intermediate to advanced skills using Excel and PowerBI required.
• Experience with Alteryx or other analytic process automation software preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Database, VBA, and SQL.
• Strong proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, Python) and visualization platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
• Expertise with statistics, data modeling, and manipulation of large data sets.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem solving and time management skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain complex data bases.
• Strong analytical ability, including the ability to gather, analyze and evaluate information and to translate concepts into financial / operational models.
• Possess basic knowledge and understanding of business and finance/accounting.
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, and organizational skills with ability to succeed in a cross functional working environment.

Physical Job Requirements

Sitting for long periods of time. Continuous viewing and inputting data into a computer screen. Travel domestically as required (<10%). Drug Policy Dealer Tire is a drug-free environment.
