Qualifications

  • 7+ years compensation administration and/or HR experience required.
  • Experience leading others in a collaborative environment preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is a nice to have.
  • Experience leading teams and designing compensation structures and policies.
  • Familiarity with compensation analytics tools and HRIS systems; CCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and management of global compensation programs.
  • Collaborate with HR teams and senior leadership on compensation strategies.
  • Ensure compensation offerings are competitive and equitable.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on compensation trends, regulatory requirements, and communications to leadership.

The Compensation Manager will lead the development and management of Michels global compensation programs. The Compensation Manager will ensure our compensation offerings are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business objectives across all regions. This individual will collaborate with HR teams and senior leadership to design and implement effective compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent worldwide. What it takes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, 7+ years compensation administration and/or HR experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must present a professional, positive image at all times
  • Experience leading others in a collaborative environment (preferred)
  • Experience in compensation structure design and maintenance
  • Proficient in using compensation analysis tools and HRIS systems
  • A nice to have – Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation
