Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President to join the Compensation team to oversee incentive compensation programs across Business Banking.

This role emphasizes governance, accurate calculations, and scalable administration while coordinating with Finance, HR, and other stakeholders. The incumbent will drive complex program administration, prepare executive-level reporting, and lead initiatives to improve controls and automation within incentive operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience developing procedures, process documentation and controls, and supporting governance, risk, audit or compliance activities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets, complex calculations and data validation.
  • Strong implementation and project coordination skills, including planning, dependency management, risk identification and stakeholder communication.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive complex work to completion while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to interpret complex plan provisions and translate requirements into practical administration processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level presentations and management reporting.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups and operate effectively in ambiguous or changing environments.
  • Demonstrated ownership, sound judgment and accountability, with the ability to balance urgency, accuracy and control.

Responsibilities

  • Administer incentive compensation programs and interpret plan provisions and administration guidelines; partner with Finance to validate incentive calculations, reporting outputs and payouts.
  • Support participant eligibility reviews, plan documentation, governance activities and approved plan updates.
  • Research and resolve incentive inquiries, exceptions and escalations using documented plan provisions and administration standards.
  • Coordinate implementation activities for approved incentive plan and system changes, including timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Human Resources, Finance, Sales Strategy, Technology, Operations, Risk, Controls and the business.
  • Validate incentive calculations and reporting outputs, and provide incentive administration data to support reporting and analysis requests.
  • Prepare executive summaries, presentations and management reporting related to incentive administration, implementation status, issues and controls.
  • Maintain procedures, process documentation and administration standards; support audit, risk and control reviews.
  • Identify operational risks, data-quality issues and process gaps, and drive appropriate remediation, standardization and automation.
  • Partner with LOB Sales Strategy & Support and business stakeholders to evaluate the administration and calculation impacts of proposed plan changes.
  • Develop scalable administration solutions that improve calculation accuracy, controls, operational effectiveness and readiness for approved program changes.

As an Incentive Administration Vice President within our Compensation team, you will oversee the implementation, administration, governance and ongoing management of incentive compensation programs across Business Banking. You will support cross organization efforts with Consumer Bank at times and partner with Human Resources, Finance, Sales Strategy, Incentive Operations, Technology, Risk, Controls and business leaders to administer plans accurately, maintain effective governance and support business objectives. The role balances operational execution, implementation coordination and complex program administration, with a consistent focus on accuracy, controls, and continuous improvement.

  • Incentive Compensation Administration or Compensation Operations experience.
  • Experience supporting scorecard or performance-measurement programs from an administration or calculation perspective.
  • Business analysis and project implementation experience.
  • Experience with process improvement, operational excellence, automation or standardization initiatives.
  • Experience supporting governance committees, risk and control reviews, audits or complex cross-functional implementations.
