Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Data Analyst to support compensation, pay-equity, and compliance initiatives for professional staff in our Washington, DC office on a hybrid schedule.

The role partners with the CHRO and HR colleagues to analyze salary structures, conduct market pricing, and ensure adherence to evolving pay-transparency laws while maintaining data integrity and clear communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; business-related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of data analytics experience supporting a large, multi-location employer.
  • Advanced Excel skills with macros and pivot tables; Smartsheet preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG/UltiPro is a plus.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze professional staff compensation to support strategy and compliance.
  • Conduct compensation analyses and market pricing for roles.
  • Provide compensation guidance for recruiting, offers, and pay-equity decisions.
  • Maintain compensation programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with pay-transparency compliance and related policy updates.
  • Review job descriptions and analyze FLSA classifications and exemptions.
