Job summary

Kaweah Health seeks a Human Resources Manager to oversee benefits and compensation programs, ensuring a competitive and compliant workplace. You will partner with leadership to improve employee experience and retention, manage vendor relationships, and drive policy development across the district.

Responsibilities include day-to-day benefits/compensation operations, benefits communications, and compliance with wage/hour laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Five years experience in Human Resources leading employee benefits and compensation programs.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of employee benefits and compensation programs.
• Ensures benefit inquiries and complaints are handled to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution.
• Under the direction of the Director of HR, evaluates competitive trends in benefit coverage, developing and recommending benefit programs, benefit options and associated policies and procedures designed to meet the changing needs of the health system and employees.
• Facilitate implementation of newly approved benefit plans and changes, including preparation and execution of communication plan.
• Conducts employee meetings and arranges for enrollment of employees in optional plans.
• Conducts employee benefit seminars.
• Advises and counsels management and employees on existing benefits.
• Assists in execution of benefit documentation such as original and amended plan texts, benefit agreements and insurance policies.
• Coordinates participation in area and industry Benefit and Compensation surveys.
• Analyzes results of surveys and develops specific recommendations for review by management.
• Review and develop competitive compensation practices and policies to support appropriate recruitment and retention.
• Monitors and conducts analysis of special pay practices to ensure cost effective objectives are met.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal wage and hour practices, including compliance with contracts related to Human Resources.
• Ensures that performance management programs support efficient evaluations and meet regulatory compliance.
