Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Compensation Specialist to assist in developing and administering organization-wide compensation programs.

You will prepare salary analyses to determine market competitiveness and internal equity, and participate in market surveys to price jobs against market anchors. The role requires at least two years in compensation, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with compensation regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; field of study in Finance, Business Administration, or Human Resources preferred.
• Minimum two years of direct compensation experience; or three years if not directly in compensation.
• Solid knowledge of compensation, salary market surveys, and analysis.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment, labor, and wage-and-hour laws.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with management and staff.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and data analysis abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel, and Access; Workday experience preferred.
