Job summary

Lurie Children’s is seeking a Compensation Analyst to develop and administer organization-wide compensation programs and price jobs against market anchors. The role involves audits to ensure compliance, guidance to HR and management, and maintaining salary structures and job descriptions.

You will participate in market salary surveys, manage the pricing tool, and collaborate on cost, budget, and pay adjustments to ensure equity and competitiveness across the hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum two years of direct compensation experience.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and Access; Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and administration of organization-wide compensation programs.
• Audit and ensure compensation programs comply with policies and regulations.
• Provide guidance on compensation to HR and management.
• Maintain compensation policy documents and salary structures.
• Participate in market salary surveys and price jobs against market anchors.
• Manage the market pricing tool/database for organizational jobs.
• Evaluate market competitiveness and internal equity, adjust salary grades.
• Collaborate with management on cost, budget, and pay adjustments.
• Draft recommendations and costing for market trends and internal equity.
• Oversee job description library and ensure regulatory standards are met.
