Job summary

First Student is seeking a Compensation Intern to support the Compensation and Total Rewards team with data analysis, market research, reporting, and administrative tasks. The role provides hands-on exposure to compensation programs, salary benchmarking, and HR analytics while helping ensure accurate and competitive pay practices across the organization, located in Cincinnati, OH.

You will assist with compensation analysis, market pricing, job evaluations, and reporting while preparing materials

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in HR, business, finance, economics, or related field.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

Assist with compensation analysis, salary benchmarking, and market pricing activities.
Compile, analyze, and report on compensation and workforce data to support business decisions.
Support job evaluations, job description reviews, and compensation-related projects.
Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets for compensation planning and reporting.
Maintain compensation data, records, and documentation while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
