Responsibilities

  • Conducts and/or participates in compensation surveys and responds to ad hoc survey requests.
  • Assists in developing job descriptions from Job Analysis Questionnaires and existing Job Descriptions.
  • Researches changes in wages, salaries and jobs to ensure compliance with university policy.
  • Assists in administering compensation programs through policy application and processing of position requests in PeopleSoft.
  • Works with Compensation Analysts to generate reports supporting HR recommendations.
  • Maintains tracking records for Compensation; may supervise student workers.
  • Manages and maintains the performance management module in PeopleSoft; collaborates with departments to resolve issues.
  • Communicates with employees and management on compensation issues and policy interpretation with discretion.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
