Job summary

Honda South Carolina Manufacturing in Ohio (Marysville) is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support salary programs aligned with our reward strategy. The analyst will conduct market benchmarks, participate in merit and bonus processes, and help ensure equitable pay decisions.

You will gather data from surveys, perform data analysis in spreadsheets, and advise leaders on compensation changes. A Bachelor’s degree in HR and up to 4 years of experience are required, with strong Excel and HRIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is required.
• 0-4 years of experience based on education.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; advanced Excel skills are critical.
• Experience with HR system software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with solid project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Consults and advises region leaders on compensation policy, offers, promotions, and market analysis.
• Supports annual compensation processes: merit, bonus, wage increases, and equity adjustments.
• Conducts job evaluation and assigns compensation grades; analyses premiums.
• Gathers market data and uses spreadsheets to assess trends; presents recommendations.
• Assists in design and administration of compensation programs and policies.
