Responsibilities

• Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive total compensation information
• Review requests for new or revised job codes to determine salary grade and range
• Analyze market data and assist in developing salary structures, budgets and off-cycle actions
• Prepare studies and recommendations on incentive compensation, bonus plans, or stock programs
• Review proposed salary adjustments for conformance to guidelines and policies
• Provide administration support for domestic and international programs (annual cycle, bonus accruals, stock usage)
• Create reports for the OneHR team and support Compensation Business Partners with analytics
• Conduct analytics and build models to inform compensation program design and outcomes
• Monitor and curate responses to employee inquiries via email and ticketing system

Job Title: Compensation Analyst

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Compensation Analyst with our client located in Santa Clara, CA.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive total compensation information to determine company's competitive position.
• Review requests for new or revised job codes to determine appropriate salary grade and compensation range assignment in alignment with guidelines.
• Analyze market data on a regular basis as directed and assist in formulating recommendations regarding development of company salary structures, budgets and off-cycle actions.
• Prepare special studies and recommendations as directed on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation or stock programs.
• Review proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices as needed.
• Provide administration support of domestic and/or international programs such as annual compensation cycle, quarterly bonus accrual reporting, quarterly stock usage and tracking.
• Create reports to be used as tools by members of the OneHR team and provide analytic support to Compensation Business Partners in support of client needs.
• Conduct analytics and build models to inform compensation program design, compensation decisions as well as forecast and analyze compensation outcomes.
• Monitor and curate responses to internal employee inquiries via email and ticketing system.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience (quantitative field preferred such as Mathematics or Finance)
• 3-5 years of experience in the compensation field or related experience with analytic experience outside of HR
• Strong analytical skills and data driven decision making
• Experience with the review and analysis of large datasets
• Experience maintaining highly sensitive information as confidential
• Team player
