About The Role

The Analyst, Compensation Consulting supports client project work assigned by project managers in all areas of Compensation. The incumbent develops and maintains high quality materials used to deliver our Compensation consulting services to our clients. This includes conducting research and analysis; developing tools and resources; and partnering with compensation consultants to support client projects. This role also supports the ongoing client partnerships that enhance our ongoing service model.

Responsibilities
  • Works collaboratively as part of a project team(s); Creates and updates project management materials under the direction of assigned project manager(s).
  • Responds to the needs of the team and client preferences to meet all delivery commitments on time and accurately.
  • Actively communicates time availability, constraints and progress on deliverables to project manager(s), engaging the project manager(s) and practice leader as needed to enhance team communication and ensure all project deliverables are met and that client project expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Responsible for documenting discussions during client meetings and sharing with the team. Records and updates meeting minutes for distribution as appropriate.
  • Update Compensation process documentation and support maintenance of intellectual property (e.g., templates, market data, sales materials) as requested by project manager(s) and practice leader.
  • Attend regular team meetings, contribute thoughts and ideas to advance the team’s goals and productivity.
  • Accurate and timely time tracking to align with business objectives and client-metrics. Keeps detailed and accurate track of time spent on project work and other responsibilities daily using our shared tools.
Personal Development
  • Keep current and engaged with the compensation industry by taking advantage of available training and learning resources, actively seeking published documentation as needed and seeking guidance and coaching from leaders as appropriate.
Skills Needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
  • Working understanding of compensation principles and metrics.
  • 1-2 years’ experience working on client projects in a management consulting environment -or- 2+ years’ experience working in the compensation team within an HR department of a company.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and presentation skills required.
  • Self-directed with positive drive and approach, including the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a virtual working environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented, have highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and manage strict deadline and turnaround time requirements.
  • Ability to establish credibility at all levels of the organization and with clients and leaders through confident communications and actions based on integrity.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, etc.) and high level of comfort using technology as a toolset.
  • Polished, professional demeanor with a client-first approach to interactions with our clients and other team members.
  • Demonstrated experience in a remote/virtual position, consistently achieving results.
  • Base pay structure experience, including job matching and reading surveys.
  • Experience with industry compensation survey tools.
