Job summary

Book Beach Resorts in Downtown Honolulu, HI is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support compensation administration, reporting, and salary planning. This role emphasizes data accuracy and HR processes, offering a path in Compensation and HR Analytics.

You will collaborate with HR, Recruiting, and Payroll teams to handle salary changes, planning activities, and HRIS data. A detail-oriented candidate with strong Excel skills and 1–3 years of related experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in HR, Compensation, Payroll, Finance, Data Analysis, or related administrative roles.
• Strong Excel skills including formulas, lookups, sorting, and filtering.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support salary changes, promotions, transfers, and other compensation transactions.
• Assist with annual compensation planning and salary review activities.
• Maintain compensation-related information within HRIS systems.
• Assist with job description maintenance and documentation.
• Prepare and analyze compensation reports, workforce metrics, and salary data.

What You'll Do

Compensation & HR Support

• Support salary changes, promotions, transfers, and other compensation transactions
• Assist with annual compensation planning and salary review activities
• Maintain compensation-related information within HRIS systems
• Assist with job description maintenance and documentation

Reporting & Data Analysis

• Prepare and analyze compensation reports, workforce metrics, and salary data
• Audit employee, job, and compensation information for accuracy
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports related to compensation and headcount
• Support compensation projects, process improvements, and system enhancements

Collaboration & Compliance

• Partner with HR, Recruiting, and Payroll teams to ensure accurate processing of compensation actions
• Maintain confidential employee and compensation information
• Assist with compensation-related communications, presentations, and documentation

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience in HR, Compensation, Payroll, Finance, Data Analysis, or a related administrative role
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, sorting, and filtering
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Compensation, Payroll, HRIS, or HR Generalist functions
• Experience with Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP, Oracle HCM, or similar HRIS platforms
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and data analysis functions
