Job summary

Fivepointspflugerville is seeking a Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services while collaborating with care teams to promote healing and comfort.

You will perform dressing changes, monitor healing, document progress, educate staff, and assist with staffing to ensure continuous resident care. Active license in good standing required; wound-care experience preferred; strong assessment and communication skills; resident-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Active LVN or RN license in good standing.
• Experience in wound care and treatment procedures preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a care team.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments.
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns.
• Communicate with physicians and families regarding care plans.
• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing.
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection.
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols.
• Assist with floor staffing to ensure continuity of care.
