Job summary

Access to Healthcare Network (AHN) seeks a Transportation Driver to provide safe, door-to-door transport for clients with mobility needs, using wheelchair-accessible vehicles. You will ensure on-time arrivals and deliver compassionate service, while connecting clients to AHN programs and resources.

The role requires a high school diploma, Nevada driver’s license, and CHW certification within a year. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CHW certification within one year of hire (agency-funded).
• Valid Nevada Driver's License with acceptable five-year driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport seniors and individuals with disabilities to medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, and other destinations.
• Operate assigned routes and schedules as directed by the Transportation Dispatcher.
• Complete all required driver training and wheelchair securement certification.
• Provide courteous, compassionate, and professional customer service to clients, caregivers, and providers.
• Accurately maintain trip records and client information using electronic devices and transportation software.
