Job summary
Stonebridge Family Vet in McKinney, TX is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team. You will assist veterinarians in exams and surgeries, monitor hospitalized patients, and educate clients on care plans.

Qualifications
- Weekend availability required
- Previous veterinary technician experience required
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; PPE and safety training
- Basic math for dosages and prescriptions
- Strong communication skills with clients and team
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians in medicine and surgery; support other technicians
- Take histories, vitals, weights during outpatient exams; educate clients
- Prepare patients for surgery and monitor vital signs
- Collect samples and perform in-hospital lab work
- Take radiographs following safety procedures
- Handle and restrain animals during exams
- Administer medications, anesthesia, vaccines as directed
- Restock and clean exam rooms and labs; maintain equipment
- Provide warmth and professionalism with clients and patients
- Communicate plans and concerns with veterinarians and staff
- Other duties as assigned
