Thrive Pet Healthcare – Mesquite is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team in Mesquite, TX. The role includes assisting veterinarians during procedures, monitoring patients, and helping maintain comprehensive medical records in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work a range of day/evening/weekend/holiday shifts; 1–2 years of clinical experience and AVMA-accredited education are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical experience.
• AVMA-accredited associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Veterinary technician licensure preferred, not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality care and educate clients.
• Assist with surgeries and monitor patient status.
• Collect samples, place catheters, and maintain medical records.
• Communicate health concerns and Thrive Membership options to clients.
