Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary receptionist or front desk role.
• Experience with practice management software; Cornerstone preferred.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and client service in a clinical setting.

Responsabilités

• Greet and check in clients and patients, verify and update medical records, and confirm appointment details using practice management software.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, scheduling, refills, vaccination records, and general hospital information.
• Process client checkout, payments, charges, invoices, and follow-up appointments.
• Communicate medical information with compassion, including end-of-life discussions when needed.
• Maintain EMR records and timely data entry in PIMS.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and staff to relay messages and manage patient flow.
• Keep reception area clean and welcoming to ensure a positive client experience.
