Job summary
Alliance Animal Health in Portsmouth, OH is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to support patient care and client communications. You will triage, restrain, collect samples, assist with imaging, nursing care, medications, and anesthesia monitoring.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience preferred for Veterinary Assistant.
- Must be able to properly restrain pets.
- Proficiency in sample collection, medical histories, lab tests and radiographs is a bonus.
- Ability to communicate treatment plans clearly with clients.
Responsibilities
- Triage incoming patients and provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases.
- Collect and analyze lab samples; assist with diagnostic imaging and radiographs.
- Administer medications and assist in surgical preparation and anesthesia management.
