Dogwood Veterinary Hospital & Pet Resort is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians in a fast-paced, multi-doctor practice. You will help restrain animals, stock supplies, sterilize tools, and maintain equipment while delivering compassionate care to clients.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively, works well in a team, and is willing to work flexible hours and weekends. Prior customer service experience and a positive, energetic attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience providing frontline client service in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Restrain animals as needed and stock examination and surgery rooms with supplies.
• Sterilize tools and ensure equipment is in working order.
• Communicate with clients and update patient files.
