Job summary

You will work under veterinarians and technicians to ensure accurate medical records, assist with exams, surgeries, dentistry, and anesthesia, and help educate clients on treatment plans.

Qualifications

• 1 year veterinary experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor under pressure.
• Telephone and computer skills are required.
• Team player willing to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, take vitals, and document in EMR.
• Assist doctors with routine and emergency appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia.
• Perform patient restraint, collect samples, and dispense medications as directed.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, and update patient records.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist with anesthesia and recovery.
• In-hospital treatments and monitoring of patients under supervision.
