You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented practice that welcomes learning, emphasizes client communication, and supports walk-in and same-day appointments, with weekend duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Patient care experience preferred but not required.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced veterinary practice.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; assist with heavier lifts with help.
• Knowledge of PPE and OSHA safety techniques.
• Basic math for dosages and medication calculations.
• Good communication skills for client and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatment.
• Monitor hospitalized pets and manage routine in-hospital tasks.
• Prepare prescriptions and in-house lab work.
• Take histories, vital signs, and weights during outpatient exams.
• Assist with surgical preparation and monitoring.
