Job summary

Village Animal Hospital in Lexington, KY is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians with patient care, monitor hospitalized pets, and assist with surgeries.

You will educate clients, handle lab work, prepare prescriptions, and maintain room and inventory while upholding compassionate, professional care for every patient.

Weekend availability is required, and prior veterinary experience is preferred to help ensure smooth daily operations and high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in medicine and surgery as needed.
