Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited veterinary assistant program preferred.
• Ability to complete the veterinary assistant skills checklist.
• 0–2 years of veterinary assistant experience in practice.
• Experience in veterinary medicine with strong client communication.
• Fast-paced environment capability and empathy for pets and people.

Responsibilities

• Support the practice team and deliver high-level veterinary care and patient-parent experience.
• Follow policies, SOPs, and SOCs using integrated technology.
• Assist veterinarians with medical equipment and handling animal fluids and tissues.
• Communicate updates clearly to veterinarians and team members in real time.
• Manage invoices with clients and handle payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of workspaces after patient interactions.
• Assist with inventory needs and training on the practice systems.
• Occasional weekend work and potential travel as needed.
