Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a DVM/VMD and be licensed to practice in the state.
• Active license, DEA and state credentials required as applicable.
• 2–3 years in general medicine and surgery; residency or internship preferred.
• Experience with veterinary radiation machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower the team to deliver an exceptional client experience.
• Build rapport with clients and address their needs.
• Perform exams and medical/surgical/dental procedures with care.
• Explain findings and present treatment plans to owners.
• Educate on preventative care and vaccines.
• Maintain medical/surgical records and logs per protocol.
• Attend continuing education meetings and stay updated.
• Support paraprofessionals and ensure safety/compliance.
• Travel may be required.
