Job summary

New Horizons Rehabilitation, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Van Driver to transport individuals safely between home and our facility-based services.

You will assist with boarding and disembarking, ensure passenger safety, and perform routine vehicle inspections to maintain a clean, well-functioning van. Qualifications

• Twenty-One (21) years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s License and 5 years driving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete required training including First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Transport persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities using agency owned vehicles.
• Assist passengers as needed in boarding and disembarking of the vehicle.
• Complete a visual pre-trip and post-trip inspection to ensure proper and safe functioning of the vehicle.
• Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance oversight of the assigned vehicle.
