Job summary

Graduate Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Van Driver to transport residents to and from medical appointments in a safe, courteous, and timely manner. This full-time role supports our mission to provide compassionate care in a sub-acute and long-term care setting.

Starting pay ranges from $15.49 to $20 per hour, with full benefits and opportunities to grow within Marquis Health Consulting Services network.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record and safe driving practices.
• Minimum 1 year of experience transporting patients to appointments.
• Professional, compassionate interaction with residents, families, staff, and the public.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments and approved destinations.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle while ensuring safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and operable vehicle per safety standards.
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain timely transportation schedules and communicate delays.
• Provide courteous interactions with residents, families, staff, and providers.
• Ensure resident safety during all phases of transport.
