Foundation Communities is seeking a Van Driver in Austin, TX to provide safe transportation for residents to medical, employment, and community activities, supporting housing stability and access to essential services.

You will perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain documentation, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding safety standards and policies of Foundation Communities.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record per insurance requirements.
• Minimum of one year of professional driving and/or customer service experience.
• Ability to provide respectful, trauma-informed, customer-focused service to diverse populations.
• Ability to safely operate a passenger van and maintain logs.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Must complete Foundation Communities' driver qualification process including driving assessment and annual evaluations.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for residents to appointments.
• Schedule weekly transportation for SRO residents to grocery stores.
• Transport groups to community outings and events at Foundation Communities properties.
• Deliver professional and compassionate customer service.
• Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Maintain and clean vehicles and coordinate maintenance.
• Safeguard vehicle resources such as fuel cards and keys.
• Follow policies for vehicle operation and safety.
