Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Austin, TX, is seeking a Driver to join our transportation team. You will provide safe, friendly transportation for residents to appointments and outings using company vehicles, with assistance loading and unloading as needed.

Responsibilities include vehicle upkeep, safety inspections, and helping residents with mobility. A cheerful, patient hospitality focus ensures a positive daily experience for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record; CDL with Passenger Endorsement may be required in some states.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and work.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance essential for Belmont Village employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of the company vehicles in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances.
• Assist residents in and out of company vehicles as needed which may include the use of a mechanical wheelchair lift.
• Actively participate in day-to-day upkeep and preventative maintenance needs of the company vehicles including fueling and scheduled service appointments.
• Assist with scheduled resident activities as needed.
• Assist with Receptionist or Concierge duties as needed.
• Make hospitality and customer service the priority in every interaction.
