Lyon Specialty Care in Rock Rapids, IA is hiring a Van Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments and events, assist with boarding and wheelchair securement, and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class D driver’s license with Chauffeur Endorsement.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and events.
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the van, including wheelchair securement.
• Follow schedules and coordinate timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Observe residents during transport and report concerns to nursing staff.
• Complete incident reports and communicate with supervisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and perform basic upkeep.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and service needs.
• Communicate daily with nursing and facility teams.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain reliable attendance and work flexible hours, including weekends.

Skills

Valid Driver's License with Class D

No more than 2 traffic violations in 3
