Valley-View-Post-Acute seeks a qualified Treatment Nurse to ensure high-quality care per physician orders and facility policy. The role involves direct resident care, medication administration, wound assessment, and updating care plans.

You will document care, communicate with physicians and families, and participate in staff training and surveys. A nursing degree and active license are required, with CPR certification preferred.

Formación

• Possession of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years or more experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.
• Basic math skills for fractions, percentages and proportions.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
• Maintain current RN or LVN/LPN license and CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate regularly with residents and families about Plans of Care and treatment protocols.
• Provide resident care including following physician orders and administering medications as prescribed.
• Chart nursing notes reflecting care provided and resident responses.
• Perform treatments and wound care while preserving dignity and comfort.
• Assist in updating care plans and coordinating with physicians and health professionals.
• Notify family and physicians of significant changes and treatment issues.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing nursing staff training.
• Assist with supervision of nursing staff and participate in surveys as requested.
