Job summary

Adolphus Group is seeking a Transportation Support Professional (TSP) to safely transport individuals with IDD and autism to appointments, work, and community activities. You will supervise and assist passengers during transit, ensuring timely arrivals and compassionate care.

Responsibilities include operating agency vehicles (including wheelchair-accessible vans), assisting with boarding and seatbelt use, and coordinating with residential teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred but not required.
• Previous experience transporting or working with individuals with disabilities is highly preferred.
• Ability to safely assist individuals with limited mobility, including lifting or guiding as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate agency vehicles, including wheelchair-accessible vans.
• Assist passengers with boarding/deboarding and seatbelt use.
• Maintain a consistent transportation schedule and adapt to shifting program needs.
• Perform pre-shift vehicle safety checks and report maintenance issues.
• Coordinate transportation plans with residential teams and caregivers.
• Respond calmly to emergencies using established safety protocols.
